BEING VERSUS CONSCIOUSNESS
The luxury real estate market in Russia continues to develop, despite the new challenges posed to the economy by the pandemic. Let's think this time about why we need to vaccinate a new way of life.
Does being determine consciousness? Yes and no. One of the key philosophical issues has a special weight in the post-Soviet space. Following the perestroika of the 1980s, a restructuring of national self-consciousness and - most important of all - thinking began. Around there are the ruins of a 70-year period, which brutally uprooted the old traditions, and those new ones that we're able to gain a foothold, today seem to be an atavism. In addition to the busts of Marx and Lenin, they took into the future whole baggage of habits and attitudes that have ingrained in the mentality of an entire country. The old way of life is gone - a new one has come, but internal changes do not happen so quickly.
And yet, over the past 30 years on the Russian market, we have been able to observe tectonic shifts in the consumer habits of Russians, along with the change of generations, to see how the value system is changing. And more than once. After the 90s, people stopped dreaming simply about "their own corner" - they wanted comfort. Having received it in the early 2000s on a powerful economic upturn and satisfying hunger, having survived the crises of 2008 and 2014, and now finding themselves in the epicenter of the new, they see no point in demonstrating prosperity and in the concept of success, which can burst like a soap bubble at one moment. Two thousand twentieth made it clear what really matters.
The very baggage of the past is being gradually dumped from the ship of our time. The young generation, which today creates families and moves the world forward, has grown up without borders, including internal ones. It is difficult to dream of something high, if you have never seen it, never considered it available. It is almost impossible to set big goals if everything around and everyone around says “that nothing will come of it, that really significant thing only happens to completely different people. Going to what you really want, if the world is seen as unfriendly, success is considered the prerogative of someone from a “closed club” that is inaccessible to you, - a mission from the category of impossible. Many successful people I know have had to work hard for more than just achieving their goals to get where they are now. First of all - about changing your picture of the world. After all, only after its restructuring, after creating this base, all other steps become possible.
But does this mean that we only need the power of thought? I think that it is not forbidden to transform a positive, open view of the world into something active, and the hermetic Marxian thesis into a working formula. Start with inner change and create your own reality that will help others see the world in a new light. In this, I see my personal responsibility: not just to build housing, but to contribute to the construction of that very picture of the world. What affects it? Everything that surrounds a person, everything in which he lives, the very context - and neighbors, and the area, and infrastructure. It is necessary to give a person and his family a feeling of comfort, freedom, and the widest possible choice of opportunities, from food to education, entertainment, and self-development.
Our new project Victory Park Residences has become the embodiment of this idea - 8 chamber houses, a small world inside a big city. Instead of focusing on the outside, on creating a wow-effect, we went the other way, namely, we gathered everything on one territory for a measured, calm life, because without a foundation of inner calm, it is difficult to build something new. Note: When it comes to family, calmness is important. Generations can change, views on the institution of the family too, but basic needs never. Family and children assume an organized life. Our task is simple (and difficult at the same time) to show that everyday life can be pleasant, inspiring, and harmonious, and we must start from the surrounding space. In particular, therefore, for example, we have provided really many options for spacious apartments and penthouses with patios and terraces. However, remember the typical Moscow high-rise buildings and residential areas: apartments in them can also be spacious, light, and even luxurious, but it is the environment that begins with the bench at the entrance that shapes the way of life. If she is unfriendly, it is only natural that we will lock ourselves in our "fortress" and beware of our neighbors. So we started with a conventional bench and from the entrance: we surrounded the complex with a garden and paid no less attention to the design of the lobby than to the decoration. There are even showers for pets so that the upstairs are clean and comfortable when it's raining and slush outside. The house starts not from the threshold of the apartment, but from the feeling of love, care, and generosity.
